The Garcia Explocat 52, the ultimate aluminum exploration catamaran by Garcia Yachts, will be on show at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 7th to 12th, 2021.

Launched in July 2020, the Garcia Explocat 52 represents new capabilities that extend the field of possibilities for catamarans. Purpose-built for all conditions, now a multihull can reach sailing areas that were previously reserved for rugged monohulls.

The Garcia Explocat 52 was conceived for long distance cruising, to be robust, rigid and safe, offering great sailing speeds, seaworthy behaviour and a high level of protection for its crew. It also delivers unparalleled comfort both at sea and in port, designed to be easily manoeuvred short-handed even though it can accommodate up to 10 people on board.

With this innovative catamaran distinguished by a surge of press coverage and significant commercial success even before the first unit was launched – the Normand shipyard Garcia Yachts establishes itself as a pioneer in the design and build of aluminum, blue water cruising catamarans.

The unit shown in Cannes will allow you to explore the overall design, pendular helm system, interior steering station and forward cockpit, as well as the build quality and customization of its fittings. This all, in keeping with the shipyard’s tradition of excellence, that has been faithfully maintained by the Garcia Yachts teams since 1974.
