Performance, for blue water cruising in style

For years, Garcia Yachts has been building a lot of aluminium boats for both blue water cruising, and the likes of the Vendée Globe Race. Proud of the excellence that characterises their boats and their success with the greatest sailors, Jean-Louis Garcia, driven by a bold idea, set himself a new challenge: to propel a 30 ton boat at 8 knots using 10 litres of fuel an hour. Thus was born the first Garcia Yachts trawler yacht created by and for one of the Garcia brothers to sail far and in comfort.

And to realise the boat of his dreams, he formed a team of enthusiasts made up of the renowned naval architect Guy Saillard, Franck Darnet director of his own design agency and interior architecture, Patrick le Quément, industry consultant and six-times European Designer of the Year and experienced colleagues from Garcia Yachts.

The best of all the know-how was gathered to bring to life to a superb trawler equipped with a heavy-duty engine, the most powerful engine on the market, a take-me-home-engine, emergency engine preventing any possible mechanical failure, a tailor-made propeller, optimising performance and fuel economy, and a revolutionary hull that minimises drag for sailing far and reducing fuel consumption..
