the centerboarder gets you everywhere

Thanks to its shallow draft with the centerboard raised,Exploration 52 access lagoons, shallow waters, and the most remote and tranquil beaches. The most adventurous explorers can also venture confidently into areas that are still poorly charted. In case of bad weather, the centerboarder offers the reassuring possibility of accessing sheltered areas, even shallow ones.

LARGE TANKS FOR SELF-SUFFICIENCY

With its 880 L freshwater tanks, Watermaker, and 1200 L diesel tanks, this 52 foot yacht, a true Blue water yacht, can sail for a very long time away from marinas, in complete independence. Hydrogenerator, Solar panels, Generator, energy autonomy is also ensured by a choice of equipment. The most remote regions are accessible for long periods.

LARGE CARRYING CAPACITY

The Exploration 52 also has a real Workshop for tools and spare parts. With its numerous interior stowages, large sail locker and voluminous exterior storage areas, this 52 foot yacht has a carrying capacity of over 2 tons. Paddles, bicycles, sports equipment such as skis and scuba tanks can be taken on board for all types of leisure or exploration.

EASILY ACCESSIBLE SYSTEMS

On board a Garcia, nothing is left to chance. All essential onboard systems - hull passages, fuel and water systems, electrical networks, technical equipment - are designed from the outset to be easily accessible, whether for a routine check, a maintenance operation or a one-off intervention at sea.

THE SERENITY OF AN ALUMINIUM HULL

hull 50 hull aluminum hull aluminium, with a thickness of 5 to 12 mm, is generously sized to ensure impact resistance in the event of a collision. For even greater peace of mind, the structure of this meters sailboat meters a watertight bulkhead the bow and stern, upstream of the steering system.

PROTECTED APPENDAGES

The propeller shaft is encased in a fin. The rudders, made of aluminium and preceded by a protective skeg, also feature a composite sacrificial zone at the top. In the event of impact, should the wick bend, the hull is preserved and the rudder remains functional.

OUTDOOR MONITORING POST

Inspired by IMOCA yachts, the helm station on every Garcia Exploration is sheltered by a rigid cap positioned just outside the companionway. From the seated position, it offers excellent protection, forward visibility, and proximity to sail handling — making it the ideal complement to the interior helm station. For added protection in rough weather, this area can also be enclosed with a removable canvas. Integrated handrails ensure safe movement on deck in all conditions.

Interior watch station

On board the Exploration 52, the interior layout is designed to enhance safety at sea. The chart table functions as an interior helm station, offering immediate access to navigation instruments and engine controls. Positioned forward of the saloon, it provides clear visibility along the route ahead. Regardless of the conditions outside, the helmsman can maintain watch from the warm, dry center of the boat - fully connected to life on board, while enjoying a 270° panoramic view of the surroundings.

270° VIEW TO THE OUTSIDE

On this 3-cabin Garcia Exploration sailboat, whether at anchor or in port, you're inside and constantly interacting with the outside world. Whether seated or standing, the large windows and hull portholes give young and old alike a view of the outside world, the sea, the sails and the landscape. This unique feeling of being outside while being inside is incomparable when you live on a long-distance boat.

THERMAL INSULATION

Big cold or tropical heat, with its 74 mm hull thermal insulation, insulated floors, double glazing and wide vents, the Exploration 52 protects its crew from extreme temperatures. The boat can be heated by radiators fed by a central diesel-fired boiler. Heat is distributed evenly and silently. This equipment also provides soundproofing, both at sea and at anchor in high winds. On board the Exploration 52, comfort is total and serene.

QUALITY of finish

Every detail on board reflects Garcia's signature exacting standards and refinement. Materials are selected for their quality, durability and aesthetics, then meticulously assembled. The interior design, conceived by Isabelle Racoupeau, combines contemporary elegance, functionality at sea and warmth for living. Fine brushed aluminium trim runs elegantly around the woodwork, enhancing the interior design. The lighting, carefully studied, combines abundant natural light with LED strips to create a soothing ambience, day and night. Tinted woodwork, upholstery or hullcolor... each yacht can be tastefully customized to reflect the personality of its owners. Because living aboard a Garcia means choosing an aesthetic as demanding as your program.

A MODERN, PERFORMANCE HULL

Garcia Exploration sailboats are designed by Olivier Racoupeau, a world-renowned architect. The hull of thismeters sailboatmeters a clever compromise between performance and comfort. Anchor chain, water and fuel tanks—all weights are centered to optimize seaworthiness and sailing comfort. Easy to handle solo, Exploration 52 ocean-going sailboats Exploration 52 average daily speeds of over 180 miles, shortening distances.

EASY TO MANEUVER SHORT-HANDED

With an ergonomic deck layout, generously sized, top-quality fittings, a well-staggered sail plan, and all controls leading back to the cockpit, Exploration yachts are designed to be sailed by a small crew or even solo.

Stability when sailing downwind with the centreboard raised

On this 50-foot sailboat, downwind with the centerboard up, drag is reduced and the centerboard is moved back, making the boat particularly smooth. Behavior is smoother. In breaking waves, thanks to the two rudders and the raised centerboard, the boat glides into the wave, without any crunching effect, so overspeed wave descents are controlled, even under autopilot.
